What is Concrete Surface Profile (CSP)?

Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) is a standardized measure of surface roughness, ranging from CSP 1 (smooth) to CSP 9 (very rough). Different repair materials require different CSPs to bond correctly. For example, a thin sealer might need CSP 2, while a heavy-duty overlay needs CSP 5. We achieve the specified CSP using grinders, shot blasters, or scarifiers to ensure the mechanical bond is sufficient for the system being installed.
