Question

What is curtain injection?

Expert Answer
Curtain injection is a technique used to waterproof a structure from the *outside* without excavation. We drill a grid of holes through the wall and inject a low-viscosity gel or resin. This material flows out to the positive side (soil side) of the wall and creates a waterproof 'curtain' or membrane between the soil and the structure. It is ideal for tunnels, basements under busy streets, or areas where external digging is impossible.
